any 1st gen guys running autokraft pan

i did a search before posting didn't see much about the autokraft pan,is any up and running with this pan, i guess my other option is the holley 302-1 pan, I just dont want to run a remote oil filter. thanks for your help ,kevin

For what it's worth, I'd would not use the Autokraft pan again.

I run a autokraft oil pan on my 69 nova and had no issues. Its an 04 LS1 on a stock frame/suspension which is the same as the camaros.

i also have one in my 69 camaro- best bang for the buck. i just ordered another one 3 days ago for another 68 project. they fit great! i also went with autokraft because of the filter.. dont like xtra oil lines!

I have an autokraft as well. Car is still in project phase but very happy with it.

Holley pan doesn't come out till the end of the month.

I had two issues with the pan - one was header interference but that could have been the custom headers to go with the 21st Century subframe - but the other was that the pan interfered with the block plate for my scattershield. I'm curious if others who used the Autokraft pan also were using a block plate?

well if you are using Dynatech headers like I am, I'd skit the autokraft pan, it will not clear the headers unless you mill the oil cap thats on the side of the pan. I had to mill that little cap like ~1/8" to barely clear, and I am not confortable with it sitting that close heating up oil as it passes through, so I am going to mill the actual oil filter adapter to gain some more clearance and you can forget about running a oil pressure gauge off that little "cap" as I had to grind it off. check out the picture.http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w61/calils1gto/69%20Firebird/2011-03-19_14-31-05_672.jpg
