picked up A 2011 Dodge Ram 1500. Figured it would be nice to have a 4x4 in the winter, as well as having something that could tow the camaro to the Ring this spring, since it is a 2-3hr drive. It'll be nice to have a tow vehicle, just in case...

i originally went to look at a new Silverado, but the dealer would not work with me on the price. All he would do is give me the rebates, half of which i couldn't get. since he didn't want to work with me, i went down the road. i was visiting family out of state, when i stopped by the dodge dealer. i had a dakota before, and loved it. don't know why i didn't think about a dodge again. anyway, after talking to the salesguy for a while, he knew what i was wanting and hooked me up with this beauty for 10k off the sticker!! i know they still made money on it, but he met my price, and gave rebates, as well as adjusting the price on the truck. i was shocked. this truck has everything i was looking for and more. the ride is so much smoother than the chevy i test drove. i couldn't be happier. i think this will work out great in Germany for the next few years. anyway, here's a couple of pics of my new girl. oh, and before i forget...YES she's got a HEMI!

Thanks. this is the best riding truck i've ever had. i expected a 4x4 to ride a bit rougher than a 2wd, but this truck rides like a caddy! i really like the new design as well. eventually later on down the road, i'll add a small lift and some bigger tires :yeah:

Love it Jeff. I have always thought the Rams were the nicest looking trucks on the road. I wish ours were more ornate in there design like that one. Congrats.

Thanks Tony. I originally went looking for a Chevy/GMC, but no one wanted to work with me at the dealership. So I ended up with my Dodge, since they wanted my business. I'm really glad it worked out this way, I couldn't be happier with our new truck.

hey Dadto2jays, she's not really that bad on the gas. In and around town i'm getting about 17mpg, and over 21 on the highway. I don't think that's too bad for a full size 4x4. I love the power that the Hemi has as well.
