Autocross events in Minnesota

We have at least a few of us Minnesotans here interested in hitting up the local autocross events, so lets start a thread on it... Here's some of the events we have to choose from.

BTW, since my car is down for a while, I'll be doing some of the events co-driving a few other cars... I've had offers to drive a few different Miatas, including one powered by a 480hp LS3. It was a no-brainer to say yes to that one.

Once my car is done, I'll be running in either CP or Vintage, depending on the competition.

A couple more clubs of interest... I've never run with either of these clubs, but I've heard good things about both of them. They're a little farther out, but still close enough to be do-able in a day.

Some of the events in Iowa are not any farther for me as the ones in the Twin Cities area, so I might hit a couple of them if/when my schedule allows...

The "National Street Tire Challenge" in Milwaukee is one event I really want to do. I've heard great things about the course layouts and the surface at Miller Park. :twothumbs:

I'm signed up for MOWOG 1 running XP in the LS3 Miata... MOWOG 2 is on my wife's birthday, so autocross is NOT on the agenda for me. :doh:

i haven't had time to check your links, but BIR has some SCCA and NASA events you may wish to add if they are not allready listed... i've never been to BIR for other then drags, but the events sound fun.

I am located in Fargo, ND at least through next summer (2012) with school and an internship. I currently have an A-body project car, and even if it isn't complete I might like checking these events out. Most of them located down by the Twin Cities?

Looking to get into racing as a newbie, parents didn't and probably don't support the idea. Oh well I am out of high school now, so any location information would be great.

I have heard of some auto-x going down in West Fargo at the fairgrounds, no information on that though.

FYI: MOWOG 1 & 2 at Valleyfair may be moved to Canterbury Park due to flooding... but they WILL occur either way. :)

Feel free to post up some links... I likely won't be doing any big-track stuff this year, as it's not quite as affordable as autocross, but if a bunch of other musclecar guys are planning to do an HPDE, you may be able to twist my arm into going also. ;)

I know the Badlands Region of the SCCA holds events there... looks like one event July 2nd 2011. http://www.sccabadlands.org/Events.html

There may be other clubs as well... maybe look for local Sports Car Clubs - Porsche, Lotus, Corvette, etc.
