Hey everyone. I'm finally taking the time to say hello like I should have back when I registered with Pro-Touring last summer. This forum has been a great resource of information that has helped me learn a lot and to make better choices for what I am doing with my ride. From all-out, no-dollar limit builds to your everyday guy working in his garage - I love it all and respect what everyone has to offer.

I have owned my '69 Nova since 1997. It started out as 396, M21 4 speed car. It was never an original big block car , and I'm not sure if it was a true 350 SS either. Never the less it came with SS trim and I've converted almost all of the parts (motor mounts, heater core, etc) to make it big block specific. For a good many years it was all about drag racing - a lot of it at the Long Island Dragway (may it rest in peace). My friends and I could give a damn whether or not our cars would turn well or brake good for that matter, just as long as we had killer 60 foots. Around 2004 I had the current 468 BBC freshened to run on pump gas (nothing crazy stock 990 heads with some porting and a flat tappet Comp Xtreme Cam). Then in 2006 I installed a TKO 600. This got me started with my love for pro-touring and have been headed there ever since.

Currently she's running a blow-thru P1-SC Procharger making 560hp/590tq at the wheels. I want to get back to the dyno again with the fresh valve springs I installed and a tighter belt to see if I can get a soild 600 at the tires. There's also an 8pt cage, a 9" with 3.89's, CPP Big Brakes front and back, KYB shocks all around, sway bars, stock front springs and mono-leafs out back. Thanks to several searches here I've contacted Tom Lee and Mark Savitske for their expertise in laying out my current and future mods. Currently installing power steering and hydroboost brakes - next winter will be a complete suspension overhaul. And maybe someday fresh paint and a nice resto.
