Ok so I'm about to purchase a set of upper/lower control arms for my Cutlass.
As of right now, when you push down on the car, it seems the front wheels seem to increase positive camber, and when you lift the car (using a jack) it gets serious with the negative camber. This is just opposite to what I've experienced before with my vehicles I've owned.
So my question is..... is the geometry of the new tube arms going to fix this issue, or is there something else I need to be doing? I've seen the tall spindle-offset upper Aarm options at a few sites, but that's just not in my budget. I plan to run the ECI narrow track brakes for stock drum spindles and just replace the upper/lower A-arms. I have already installed KYB Gas Adjust and 1 1/4" solid sway bar, I just was wondering if I could improve the geometry to get rid of the increasing positive camber as the suspension cycles on compression.
Thanks all.
