View Full Version : Best place to buy new door panels

Where would you guys recommend buying some new Nova door panels and arm rest pads and bases? I see Ground Up has the PUI ones. Classic Industries and Year One also list some. Are there many others out there to choose from?

As you look through the catalogs of the warehouse companies (Year One, Ground Up, OPG, etc.), there are really only a few manufacturers that supply them with those parts.

From watching quite a few You Tube videos from PUI, I'm very impressed with the quality of their work, and that they actually take time to record & share the processes of reupholstering automotive interiors, I'd recommend them to anyone, as I plan to have my own interiors done by them, as well!

Legendary Interiors is another manufacturer...
Classic Interiors is another manufacturer...

There may be others, but PUI seems to be most reputable, as I've heard/read of others complain of stitching coming loose/colors not matching/etc. from other manufacturers.

You only have a couple choice on manufacturers from any one you buy them through. I sell PUI, and 90% of the time we have no issues. Never had a door panel issue yet, just occasional seat covers that do not fit right and either have to fix them on the spot, or send them back based upon time available. I have been pretty happy with them overall.

If I were to buy again, I would give Legendary a try. For the First Gen Monte, they make the doorpanels themselves (not just a PUI re-seller)...

Legendary does not make Nova yet unless they just released them. They only recently started making Camaro items
