Frank,
I'm interested in a set of WC3 wheels in the same size as were used on Motiv8r. The above Motiv8r caption lists the wheels as 18x10 and 18x12. On Motiv8r.net Larry lists the wheels as 18x8 and 18x12. Obviously there is a discrepency. I'm wondering if you or Larry can verify which is correct.

MotiV8r absolutely has 18 X 10 and 18 X 12, I ordered them. But that car has a AME subframe. What subframe do you have?

WC3R doesn't show as 19" on their site. Sorry about the confusion on the ZX3R.

Yeah, I spoke w Scott Main about that a few months back. He gave no indication of the Wc3's in 19s any time soon. Another dead end for me was the De3s only come in 19 and 20s. I guess its more targeted to the vette market?

Maybe we can get Uncle Frank to put in a good word for his flock....!

The problem is some wheel designs simply do not match 18 to 19, 19 to 20, etc when you make them larger or smaller. So for example if you make the WC3R in a 19, first thing someone will want to do is a 18 / 19 combo (my favorite these days) and they simply will not match if that pattern is expanded. Spoked wheels, no problem. Mesh wheels, some not so good. Also forging can be a issue. If a wheel forging is totally unique to one wheel, it better be a damn good seller. Exactly why we could not make the TA3P in a 18. Would have required a different forging and the pattern looked way different in a 18.

So what will a set of 19's in the ZX3R run me? Black with polished lip. I'm guessing 19x9 and 19x10. I am running Wilwood 6 piston fronts and 4 piston rears.

Frank - Appreciate the explanation and I totally agree w the Wc3's. Probably the perfect wheel IMHO in 18", but the DE3S is made in 19 - 21 in a step lip (no 18) and the DE3P is made in an 18 - 21. I have you to thank for the 18/19 combo design queue, I just can't shake the desire for a step lip. We'll get it narrowed in down one of these days...

TA3s still available like on Wes' Formula? I'm not seeing them on Forgeline's web site...

The TA3P wheels required a special forging. Looking in the mirror we would have been better off making the TA3P 18s instead of 19s as the 19s seemed big for most of the Pontiac guys.

I should have enough forgings left to do a couple sets, I will have to check Monday on that

Hey Frank, If these are still available can you shoot me a quote on a set with gold window edges and polished lips like on Wes' Formula. They would be going on an 80 Firebird with stock suspension and brakes, no tubs. The only other issue is I would be looking down the road to update to bigger brakes.

How much for a set of GA3R in 17x9 and 17x11 in all matte black?

Those wheels will have some extra savings in them because powder coat inners is a cost option Prodigy Customs does on all Forgelines for free. So your only adding $$$$ for the outer lip powder coat option. So in full powder coat those wheels list for $4320, your price is $3575 including powder coated inners, outers and centers which is closer to 18% off.
