The weather being so nice convinced me to take a drive and get a new photo with the new springs and suspension setup. I was afraid the back was still too high but now, I think I'll leave it alone.

Looks perfect. What rims are they? What width, backspaces, and tire sizes? Are they the widest that would fit, or do you have some extra room?

Thanks for the comments guys.
The wheels are Boyd Smoothie IIs. 18X8 front and 18X10 rear. Backspacing is 4.5 front and 6 rear. Tires are BFG KDW2 255/40 front and 295/35 rear. That's all I can get in there with stock wheel wells. No bottoming out or scrapes at this point but I don't have a lot of miles on it. I have one exhaust head pipe that's going to have to get tucked up a little better. Springs are from Pro-touring F-body. I have the GT springs up front and the Competition leafs out back per Dave's advice. Thanks, Dave.

Thanks to all of you for the kind comments.
I appreciate the comments on my photography skills as well. That wasn't a lot of work. I think I may have taken 2 minutes to shoot that. But having about 30 years behind the camera in some capacity or another as a professional helps. LOL!

Critter, you're running stock arms right? How much caster were you able to get?

Great stance, the bigger question is how do you like the ride and handling characteristics? I have been thinking about going with that setup for stage 1 of my build and maybe do a Torque Arm down the road. I would love to hear a review of these springs.

I think you nailed the stance, looks great. What kind of parts did you swap?

I'll go against the grain and say ,lower it.

looks good- but even if it was a bit high in the back, that's not a bad thing for a real world driver.. it leaves a little clearance for a full tank of gas, a passenger or 3, and some junk in the trunk.
unless you're running an air ride system or something like that, of course..

Sound advice. Cool pic and it looks great, especially if you intend to use and enjoy the car.
I think it is easy to forget that we might pile a few hundred pounds of family/friends into these cars on occasion along with a cooler, some chairs, etc... and go to an event many clicks of the odometer away and it would be really beneficial for that to not make for suddenly sucky characteristics out of the stance that looked killer in the garage or at the curb.
Thanks for the reminder of that novaderrik.

I have stock control arms using steel shell/derlin bushings all around. GW offset cross shafts. I did the alignment using the FastTrax tool. Caster was around 3 degrees from what I remember. Sorry, I don't have those numbers in front of me right now. Camber was -.5 degree and toe at 1/16 inch I think.
As for driving reviews, I've only had street time on the car, no competition inspired driving if you you know what I mean. LOL! So far all I can say is, man, what a difference. I don't know if it was because my old suspension was so worn out. The steering is neutral and responsive. Turns are flat. No more feeling like the Queen Mary in high seas.
Good point regarding the load. I almost never have passengers but I have been known to load up for a road trip. I guess I should test that.
Thanks again guys.
