Mako Shark Corvette

I'm looking for any information about the mako shark corvette. Does anybody has information about this cars (more than wikipedia)?

Who owns one?
Any website especially for Mako Corvette?
Any book recommendations?

I'm looking for pictures, technical datas, history information's, how many do exist and where I can find them in person...

AMT or MPC I think made a model of the Mako Shark. There is mention of them in many Corvette books you can find over the years.
