Dustin Pearson transformed a rusty $750 1970 Nova into a cool street
machine as a father and son project.

Once done with it, he wanted it to handle better. He installed a Hotchkis (http://www.hotchkis.net) TVS kit, new wheels and tires and a 6-speed. Now’s he got a great looking performer!

Looks good. I have the TVS kit on my car and can't wait to get it on the road to see how it handles.

how "rusty" was it when he started out?
was it "California rusty" with faded paint and a few areas of surface rust- or "Minnesota rusty" with quarter panels and floor pans that were mostly gone?
or was it somewhere in between?
