Hey guys!
I'm having a bit of a hard time finding tires that I like in the sizes that I want.
I would love to run Nitto NT05s all around, but there is no suitable NT05 for my car's front, so I'm thinking of maybe running some Nitto 555s up front.
I would just like some opinions on whether or not people think that would look goofy or not. I know many people run different tires on the rear to run drag radials, but the 555R and the 555 look pretty similar.
Thanks for any opinions guys!

I have 555's on the front and 555R's on the back of my Chevelle and they look identical,no worries there!

Thanks guys!
Yeah, I guess the 555 & 555R are pretty much identical. My question was more about the NT05 on the rear and the 555 on the front. Since the car is only about 450-500HP, I thought that the NT05 would be enough to hook that up, plus I like the looks of the NT05 a bit better.
Maybe I should just go with the 555R, and have the added benefit of probably hooking up a bit better on the street than the NT05.
Thanks!

What sizes are you looking to run? A 245 or 275 front with a 305 rear?

I'm really worried about ending up with too short of a rear tire getting lost in the huge wheel well openings of my '69 Super Bee. I'm thinking of a 245 45 17 front, and if I go with an NT555R then (if they arent too wide) 305 40 18 rear (27.72"), and if I go with an NT05 then 295-45-18... but that is getting to be a pretty tall tire at 28.5".
A 295-40-18 rear (27.3") would be really nice too, but as best I can tell only the Falken 615k comes in that size, and those seem to be pretty expensive.
I see a fair number of cars online where the rear tires look perfect from a 3/4 front view with fat tires, but when you see the side profile the tires end up looking too small in the wheel well.
Thanks!
