Can you have a 100* temperature swing in 7 days. There were parts of the state last week that were -20*+ WITHOUT wind chill and today and tommorrow we will be in the 80's across the state.

We have a saying in Nevada "If you don't like the weather, wait a half hour". Last week it was t-shirt weather, today we have a couple inches of snow..... So I know exactly where your coming from....

Hi Mike, wish I was there for some of that snow. Every time I talk to my Dad he says the weather totally different than the last time I talked to him the last time. I call about twice a week. I asked him about all that snow the other day and he said it was gone and he was wearing shorts!
I kinda miss that about Oklahoma. One week it's Spring, the next is Winter. A week later it's Spring again.

Yep, definitely a Central Plains thing. N. TX, OK, KS, and to some extent Neb.

You and me both. I was just looking at some old pictures, yesterday, from one of my last trips back. We went noodling in Deep Fork Creek near Meeker and got a 40+ lb. cat.

You know you're a redneck when you say you've been noodling...lol. My kids still say I'm such a redneck and I wear it proudly.:smoke:

Most of my fishing is at lake tenkiller...bass, crappie, etc.

Yep. Love them crappie! My haunts were all ponds aside from Eufala and Lake Dirtybird (er, uh, Thunderbird) outside of Norman. I used to have OU season tickets and would stop by, bellow the dam, and get some fishing in before the game.

Hey David,

Here's that cat pulled from Deep Fork.
