I need to take this thing apart to run my drive by wire cable though the firewall. Any hints. I've been using a pick in the small hole to no effect.

you have to get the purple cover off first but do not destroy it and then you can see then locks you need to lift to remove wires.

I don't anwser alot of things on here due to me not feeling 100% confident but I have delt with them before so Figured I would lend a hand! Glad it worked out for you. Tip for you alot of connectors either have that or a lock that is made in to the connector that you have to release before you can get to internal lock to release wire. Brandon

Do you know what Delphi series that connector is? I may need to shorten the cable and, if I do, I'll need to get some of the terminals.

As for not answering unless you're certain, that's a terrific quality to have.

That looks like a Delphi GT280. I have some terminals, both male and female, and the crimping tool. It's the same type of terminal that's used for the fuel modules. If you're in no big rush I should have most everything ready for your tank in 3-4 weeks so when you come out we can take care of both.

That would be great. Thanks.

Thats a GT150 commonly used on dbw pedal assemblies. It also uses the smaller seals not the standard ones for GT150.

Thanks Dennis! It's kinda hard to gauge the size.

eficonnection.com has all of these connectors and terminals. Here's this one http://www.eficonnection.com/eficonnection/ConnectorDetails.aspx?ItemId=523

His prices are a bit steep, but since he has the fitment info for each connector on the page it makes the extra worth it.
