New Member, OLD Hot Rodder. I have been wrenching on cars for over 50 years, and still enjoy it. My 1st car was a 1953 Henry-J, that I put in a 57 Golden Hawk engine, trans and rear axle. I took a date out in it, and ended up getting married. Still married to her. Should of kept the Henry-J, and got rid of her. :)
My present plat car is a 1993 Ford Thunderbird with a built 393 stroker. It has a Vortech YSi supercharger, running E85. The complete drive train and suspension is custom to handle the extra HP. It sees a lot of highway miles on cruises, goes to at least 1 car show a month, and 3-4 outings ayear at the drag strip.
Spent 22 years in the US Army, then worked for the State of Tn, then Retired again.
