In the process of swapping a LS1 into my 73 Camaro and was originally planning to do it turbocharged but as the parts are adding up it's become clear that it would be much more affordable for me to adapt the brand new Vortech V-1 carbed sbc kit that I acquired a few months ago. Brackets and plumbing are a nonissue I am a fabricator and those are easily build-able and there's plenty of room under the hood to me the only hurdle I'm not sure how to jump is the crank pulley were do I find one that fits? Could I adapt the existing sbc pulley to bolt to the stock LS1 pulley?? Has anyone done this? tips and tricks?? Thanks for the help guys...
Short & sweet:
Where to find or how to build a crank pulley for a LS1 that'll drive my V-1 Vortech Supercharger??

Most of the LS SC kits I've seen run the supercharger off the serpentine belt drive.
It seems it's necessary to key the crank pulley with those install though.
Any chance of getting that kind of setup to work?

Not really the SC pully is a 10 rib and with already having to move the alt, steering pump and a/c comp up almost even with the head it would be nearly impossible to route the belt to run the SC too..

You will most likely need to use a damper assembly from ATI Perf Products. They do make an 8 rib setup and I believe can do a 10 rib package. Of course a lot of this will all depend upon where your pulley alignment falls.
You may have to start with a base LS1 ATI damper and then bolt the supplied 10 rib pulley from your SBC kit to it.
Hope this helps.

Thanks.. Yeah it looks like thats the way I'm gonna have to go.. Looks like if I take my pulley apart it'll bolt right up.. Ouch though, those things aren't cheap..
