Does anybody have any real experiance dealing with AMD sheet metal? I am wondering what level of quality their panels are. Are they comparable to a goodmark or better or worse?

Dad is at the auction today, so I am looking at the board today. I just used aAMD panels on the unfair project and they are a lot better then all the others I have used. We sell them so you can call dad next week for pricing.

Thanks michael. Ive been looking at different panels but finding little info. I have seen that goodmarks quality seems to be down and I was looking for alternatives. How are they for fit? Did it require many spacers and shims to get good alignment? Were the body lines like door seams and hood seams tight and consitant?

I just replaced both quarter panels, inner and outer wheel houses, roof panel, cowl shoulders and complete firewall on my 67 Chevelle and I was very impressed with the quality and fit.

I used a one piece AMD floor in my Dodge Dart, I don't think it could have been any better. the fit was perfect.

Yes, we used nearly every one of the 69 Camaro panels on Unfair. Great fit, crisp lines, and made from thicker metal too.

Really good stuff: the best in the industry.

Highly recommended.

I was told that the old owner of Goodmark (iirc Mark Hedrick, who started at Year One years ago) started AMD when he sold Goodmark...anyone know for sure?

I'm almost positive thats the case...there is some relation, at least, since they are located in Buford GA which isn't very far from Goodmark's Lawrenceville, GA home. Most of the automotive resto businesses in N. Georgia are run by, or at least staffed, by lots of Year One former employees.
