My most current project 68 Camaro I picked up from a relative a few weeks has some odd body work issues going on. The car has all original body panels in excellent shape, still has original paint on 1/2 the car. I started doing inventory and looking it over in great detail the other day. Then thats when I noticed the front A-pillars do not have drip rails on the them. I have no idea why or how they were removed but they are gone right up to the top of the door then the they start.

Not sure how this is fixed at all. Ideas?

Thanks, Erik

On the 67 that part of the drip rail screws to the A-pillar as a separate part. If you look, you should see 3 screw holes in the channel. Maybe it is the same on a 68?

I think the FIX is to remove the rest of teh drip rail.

I was thinking of removing the drip rails and smoothing them out my 68'. Does anyone that has done this have tips or advice on the best way to do it? Pictures would be great. I would like to see how it turned out.
Thanks
