im putting black power leather buckets in my 70 duster. theyre in great shape overall for pull-a-part seats, but need a little attention.
the drivers side has a small tear, less than 2 inches long, back near the seat hinge. it also has some wear where the seat is no longer entirely black, but more of a grey like my boots are now that i havent polished them in years.
any simple and inexpensive ways to fix this and make it look right?
thanks
Michael

You would probably be better off just getting new covers or having ones made. There are repair methods, but you have to worry about durability issues. The bad panels can be replaced, and they will not match the worn existing pieces. I know this cause I have done panel replacements for people and the new pieces just don't match the rest perfectly.
