stock LS2 manifolds from a C6 on a LSX 6 bolt block and heads. Im wondering if the manifolds will clear the additional bolt bosses on the outside. Id like to build a turbo kit using a mockup 5.3 block before ordering the complete LSx 427 engine later.

I have a pair of C6 manifolds on my 408 right now, but I haven't started the turbo plumbing yet. I would say they will clear the additional bolts just fine, but I don't have a clear picture just yet to show them from the side. I'll try to get you a side shot tomorrow.

Not trying to be an ass, but why would you mount your manifolds up like that? Take a look at the truck manifold front mount set ups over on ls1tech in the sticky section. I just don't see how that would fit under any hood. Just my .02

Not trying to be an ass...
You failed... just kidding. Your right, it would look way better to use manifolds that are turned down. Trouble is, with the stock GenIII and GenI subframe there is no way the truck manifold will work turned down on the passenger side. There is a single turbo LS1 Nova build using these C6 manifolds, and it actually turns out better than you might think. The manifolds are angled forward, and by adding another 60° or so in a fairly tight bend radius you can get horizontal without hood clearance issue.
That being said, earlier this week I purchased an aftermarket subframe, so I hope to be able to use the truck manifolds facing down. So I will take your advice - it just cost me a few thousand to get there.

Just to clarify, Ill be using the C6 manifolds pointed down and backwards.
