The sugar pine railroad is closed to the public but we called ahead to ask if we could come for a visit … No problem !! was the response. Greg and Aaron were actively servicing the old locomotives and were more than happy to spend some time with us and show us all the working parts of the old engines. Probably more pictures than the guys at the roadtourexpress want to digest but Sy and I. Were not going to be outdone.

I asked Sy to put a few miles in the driver seat while we back track to let him have a little fun in the twisties.

We are almost back to Oakhurst and will soon be crossing the central valley.
