*** SOLD ***

I have 2 pairs of used but still perfectly fine Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires that need to go to new homes. They are being sold as pairs only and the buyer will be responsible for actual shipping from Salinas, California (or they can be delivered for pickup to RTTC in February). I am selling them because I am changing tire sizes and manufacturers for this years One Lap.

1 pair Michelin PS2s - 275/35ZR18 - used. These have OLoA10 engraved on the sidewall (about an inch long - engraving was done by Tire Rack per race rules). Tire Rack pricing is $756 for the pair, I'm asking $375.

1 pair Michelin PS2s - 335/30ZR18 - used. These have OLoA10 engraved on the sidewall (about an inch long - engraving was done by Tire Rack per race rules). Tire Rack pricing is $844for the pair, I'm asking $425.

I will have pictures and tread depths shortly.

Cheers
James

James, unless you drive like Rupp I think I'm interested in the 335/30s.

Matt - if you are asking if I have done repeated, gratuitous, and awe inspiring burn outs in front of BOS at every opportunity, the answer is no. These are in great shape - I should have pics shortly.

Good to know. While you are taking pictures can you snap one of the throttle pedal so I can verify that it is in fact a pedal and not an on-off switch. :naughty:

LOL - Set of 4 tires "used once only" with 200 miles on the fronts but 3,500 on the rear!

sure :)
Just remember - you asked if I drive like Rupp... you didn't ask about my partners in crime...

I have a call in to Mary for pic's but she might be busy with the Road Tour Express. They might be being dismounted as we speak with new "temporary" tires going on until the new wheels are ready. On that basis... if you know anyone who might be interested in some "lightly used" HRE's keep me in mind...

I trust that you and your partners in crime change engine oil as routine maintenance rather than necessity, which would lead me to believe that you do not drive like Steve. Selling a perfectly good set of wheels is rather disconcerting though as it leads me to believe that you are becoming more like him by the day, especially if you're getting Forgelines. Oh, and I might be interested in the wheels now that you mention it.

Steve hangs on to engines long enough to change oil :hmm: who knew? :lmao:
Amongst other reasons, we're changing wheel sizes this year. Once we're sure of timing we'll let you know and your front of the line for the wheels if you want them.

Sorry, what I said did not make sense. What I meant to say was that your car's maintenance requires changing oil, not engines.

James, I'll still take them. Can I just pay you at the end of the week when you're down here?

nice.

Were you interested in them too? I don't really need the 275s but figured I would just buy them all and make it easier on James. I can always use the fronts on my Camaro.

BTW, these aren't the tires I had to bring up to JCG to drop off to you guys, are they? 'Cause that would be funny.

They are yours Matt and I appreciate you taking all of them (it does make it easier and D!ck will probably end up with the money anyways) :)

I think they might be the same tires... small world.
