Hey everyone. Ive been one here for a while but never posted. I just picked up a 72 mach 1 with 32700 miles. It has a 351 cleveland, c6 and 9 inch rear end. Purchased the car from my boss for a grand. Its been sitting for atleast 10yrs outside. Body is pretty solid but the interior is trashed and needs floor pans. Frame rails seem to be solid from what i can tell. Well my goals with the car is to make a low budget pro-touring car. As far as suspension im gunna plate the stock front control arms in the front and 4 link the rear. Air bags on all 4 corners. Gunna go with 17x8 and 17x 11 ar500 wheels. So far ive got the car running and stopping. Collecting parts withing the next few months and once the weather gets warmer the fun can begin. Also does anyone know if a 17x11 will fit in the stock rear wheel well or will it have to be minnie tubbed. Here are a few pics....https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif

Forgot to mention im also gunna do a shelby theme to the car. Sence they never really made a 72 shelby gt500 in the states im gunna do my version of it if they did.

Looking forward to this build. I like the early 70's Mach 1's.
