I saw on the firebird gallery a guy put a 70-73 T/A front end on his 78 T/A doesnt look bad... Makes me think of doing this to my 79... what do you guys think bout this? Also how hard would it be to do? Would i use my 79 fenders and just plop on the 70-73 nose or would i need the 70-73 fenders too?

you realy need all the front sheet metal including the core support but I've heard of people using the 70-71 nose without doing too much work (70-71 is much lighter and does not need as many bracket but you will need the bumper brackets to hold the nose and you will have to re drill some of the mounting holes on the fender, this is about all the help I can give, it's been a long time since I played with the early firebirds

thnx for the info man, it is probably more of just an idea, and not something ill actually end up doing... but if i do id probably use the 68 or 69 style.

68 or 69 now you are looking at some big custom job and the body line would not fit right. even the 68 to 69 don't interchange!

68-69 would look rediculous an kill the value of your car.

79, the links do not work, and I've looked all over that site for this car and can't seem to find it, where is it located?
