Anybody doing the Nevada Open Road Challange (Silver State) May 2011?

I'm going to be in Las Vegas the same week as the Nevada Open Road Challange this year May 12-15. I'm thinking about taking the Chevelle and running one of the lower speed classes just for the hell of it!!!

Anybody else gonna run?

I don't think that we are going to make it this year - the One Lap finishes up the weekend before and even if we were going to haul the OLC back west when we were done (which I don't think we are going to) I don't think we would make it in time.

You'll have drivers school Thursday AM (mandatory, no exceptions) at Vegas Motor Speedway's road course before heading out to Ely. The half mile (Friday) and mile (Saturday) shootouts are fun if you have the time but the altitude takes it's toll.

I was thinking of doing it in BP.. I have a free entry deal from them.

I've navigated before (with the One Lap car) and it was a blast.. need a damn trophy though!
