Wish it were within my budget......looks like they have a $17,000 build receipt for it? Only a few hrs left and its on the west coast. Figured I'd throw it here in case someone has the interest/budget. Includes Wilwood brakes front and rear, rear with triangulated 4 link. Again........wow.

I wasn't aware that AME offered a full frame for these cars. From my previous conversations with them, I would assume that the car would need all new flooring from the seats back, as they have told me that their rear kits couldn't follow the floor because of the steep angles and lack of height for rear axle travel. Definitely a nice looking setup though. If someone were going to do a full floor in their car anyway, this sure would make a nice platform to start from!

Sold for $7700. Really a bargain considering what was included. I do believe you need to make mods to fit that frame but dont know the details. They also make another rear type setup.....one of our people DOUG1 is using in his Formula build.....its a 5 link. Combo 3 link and 4 link apparently so you can switch over from dragstrip to roadracing in a half hour.

They have an awesome setup.$7700 is more than a steal. I'll be using the 5 link setup in my 73 formula.

Definitely a deal but not sure I'd want a full frame unless I was running serious HP (e.g. 1064 @ the crank). I'm more of a 500-600 hp and pull as much weight out as possible. Like the look of the Bandit on the Speedtech site and all the CF parts available for the 2nd gen from Anvil. That would be the route I went, but just what I like.

If you dont mind my asking.....whats that setup cost?

I'd take the weight of that setup even with only 500-600hp because of a number of factors. Incredible rigidity compared to a standard 2nd gen, modern and severely updated steering geometry, updated rear end articulation and of course in this case......almost $5000 worth of brakes. That frame doesnt weigh that much really, and you drop poundage for the updated steering.

Somebody STOLE that at that price! My 1st gen AM (front-only) sub sells for $7k. Figure the brakes are north of $3k? The 9" center north of $1k. GREAT deal!

they had reciepts of 17k on that setup because of the brakes ..susp ..and rear axle..i bid once but didnt get it reason being i am 2000 miles from him and buyer was responsible for all the shipping and didnt know anyone to crate it up and such..

For something like that with 2000 miles between....you just have to take 4 days off, load up a truck, and go get it. Dont even need a trailer...put plywood sheets across the bed sides of the truck, and extend it out over the tailgate too. Thats 10 ft, and the whole thing is likely 14 ft.....so just ratchet strap it down.
