Monte SS Hood

I am looking into a 4 inch cowl hood for my monte ss
but i am not fond of fiberglass since my car is black i would prefer to not have to paint it every couple years due to warpage just curious what people have had or used for there monte carlo ss

2" steel Goodmark hood on mine. I didn't want fiberglass either, but I doubt you will find a 4" cowl in steel.

A friend of mine has a Harwood 4" cowl show hood on his car.Very nice.It's also black.My 67'Camaro has the same hood in black. Very good for glass.

Harwood makes a very good quality 4 inch cowl hood. I know several people who have had this type of hood for any number of years with no paint problems or warpage.

Now while Harwood does make a great hood 4 inch cowl hoods on any car are ugly and hidious in appearance.

I know you didn't ask my opinion on the looks of a 4 inch cowl hood. I just always seem to hear the same comments from many other people.
