I have tried to come up with a name for my Monte without any luck. So I am hoping you guys can come up with some good suggestions.

The quick story on the car that might help with the naming.

I saw the car for the first time at the Corvette Nationals at IRP in Indianapolis. It had a funny paint scheme, a 383 in it, skinny tires up front, something like 255 out back, interior dash parts painted white. Then a few months later a coworker said there was a Monte in his hometown that is setting at a bank that is for sale. So I went and looked at it & it was this same one. 4 spare tires, engine, tranny, radio all gone. It was cheap enough to not buy. So I did & started looking for the LT1/T56.

So the skinny tires & 15" dia wheels are gone & in place went wide meats with 17" dia rims, big brakes, a 95 LT1 & T56 went in. And strangely enough while it sat in the garage the paint scheme started to grow on me (still I wouldnt have picked it). I replaced the interior parts that were painted white & made it look stock. And I replaced the flat hood with a cowl one painted a solid wine color to match the front end.

Now I am thinking I want to get an L92 from DaytonayellaZ & replace the LT1/T56 in it with an L92/T56 combo.

Any ideas for a project name?

I have nothing for you, but if you decide to go with a cam for the L92 I have one to sell. I was going to go with an L92 and had bought some parts for it including a cam and phaser and then wound up getting a deal on an LQ4.

I had an 84 Monte SS back in the mid-90's while in college, all white with an emissions exempt 406. My sister started calling it Falcor after the dragon in the movie Never Ending Story b/c it was big, white, loud & fast. Eventually it stuck. My Dad's buddy named the '70 T/A he had in the 80's the Millennium Falcon b/c he said smashing the throttle was like going into Hyperdrive. Anyway, my point is that you can get pretty creative with the names and use something "related" that people may not pick up on right away. Keeps 'em guessing. :)
