Team Captains Announced..

[Road Tour Express]

After receiving several well qualified entries for the first two team captains on the Road Tour Express we have our picks:

RTE Team 1 will be run by Mark Norman
RTE Team 2 will be run by Chad Reynolds

Both are long time members of several industry message boards.

Team captains will be posting on their favorite Web hangouts looking for drivers to fill out their teams. If you want to get your car out for a fun day of driving and feel you are up for the challenge make sure to speak up and let them know why you would be the choice to fill one of the team spots.

It looks like we made two perfect picks for team captains - or "Tour Guides".

You guys have it ALL going on - We wanted to make sure everyone understood that the Daily Challenges won't be hard. They will require more creativity than difficulty.

We will have more sponsor / award announcements next week. - One element that hasn't been discussed yet - winners for the awards are determined by popular vote via online pole. So as your team forms, start mobilizing that fan base too!

The first week will be the actual driving portion - with live interaction, photos and postings
The second week we will post the video content from the drives and voting will start
The third week voting will be wrapped up

We don't care what kind of car / truck / beast you drive - just try to make it something you're passionate about. The whole point of this is give folks another way to do what hot rodders do best, in the immortal words of the Bandit, "SHOW OFF!"

The full 2011 dates are getting much closer to finalized, and chances will be VERY good we'll be doing this in your neck of the woods.
