434ci Small Block Chevy, Complete Short Block

Shortblock custom built for ~12# of boost or ~175 shot of nitrous.

For some seller references, see the 7 posts about me at Maliburacing.com, search the 'Good Guys' section for 'delta*'.

$4090. For pickup only in NorCal. I am in the San Jose Area. PM me if interested or with questions.

I bought this to build up for my Malibu, but then I got married and bought a house, and my project priorities changed.

No lowballers, please. I also don't need any trades and am not interested in parting this out.

Serious buyers encouraged to contact me to set up an inspection session. The oilpan is on temporarily now to permit easy viewing of the internals. I will seal it up for you upon purchase if desired.

Motown Block Info:
World's MoTown block and heads are cast to beefier specs than standard GM parts. The four-bolt MoTown block has 1-inch-thicker front and rear bulkheads for added strength. There's more iron around the cylinders, too, than a stock block. This allows for expanded coolant passages and head bolts that go in blind, meaning they don't go into water - important considerations when you're overboring to 4 inches and beyond.

Nodular iron main caps are cinched down with half-inch ARP bolts and special alignment dowels, while the this crankshaft is internally balanced. Externally balanced cranks typically wear weights attached to the front and/or rear of the crankshaft, while an internally balanced crank has material added to the individual counterweights. An internally balanced crank is likely to last longer and make the engine run more smoothly.

Lowered price to $4090. Added a few details, fixed a typo.

This would make a stout mill for any Pro-Touring car, with gobs of torque and a very wide powerband.

With a set of excellent heads, you would have a strong and dependable motor for years to come.

PM me for more pictures or with questions.
