I am considering installing some 325i sedan seats in my '69 Firebird. Many on the forum appear to have made this swap but little is discussed (or I just missed it) about seat belts with this conversion.
I would love to here about your 3-point solutions utilizing these seats. Pics welcome.
Thanks for the reply.

You might wanna look for the convertible seats as the seat belts are built into the seats & have no issues. Other issues (unsolicited, sorry...) Also if it's out of a 325i, then they are out of a sedan (4 door) you'll have a hard time accessing the back seat as they don't fold like the seats from a coupe (look for seats out of an 325is or 328is or ic) . And BMW seats are HEAVY!!!

Thanks for the reply and I appreciate your candor on the other issues. My understanding was that the coupe and sedan seats were identical but I stand corrected. I like the look and feel of the Bimmer seats and they seem to scale well in the 1st gen's. Any other alternatives are welcome with a similar look (and ease of installation).
