Will be shipping soon! This is a great book. If you want to learn the basics of how suspension systems work and how to make them better, this book has it all. Mark is known for giving great, honest advice on this and other boards, and he's helped a LOT of us make our cars work better (mine included!). I was fortunate enough to work with him on this book, and the final product is a 'must' for anyone upgrading a vintage American car suspension for improved handling.

Lots of member cars/suspensions from here are on the pages as good examples. Kudos to Mark for this labor of love- it's chock full of usable information!

Ordered 4 bulk packs of Dynamat Extreme early this month through Amazon and to apply for free shipping I had to enlist for a month of free trial membership. Now Mark's book is also shipping free!

I received my copy Tuesday, and have just had time to skim over it. Looks like a great book and everything I have read so far is very well explained so that even a Monkey like me can understand it.

I'm ordering mine today. The handful of times I have called Mark for advice and parts have been great, but we usually end up discussing politics. Eventually our blood pressure goes up figuring out what is wrong with America and before you know it, two hours have passed. This book will save us both a lot of time! Thanks Mark and Scott!

Those who have the book--I'm curious, how high-level does it go? Are we talking "The benefits--and pitfalls--of increased camber" or "Calculating expected instantaneous slip angles for dummies"? Not that either should be considered derogatory--I just know Mark's got the knowledge to go as in-depth as he wants and am wondering how far down the rabbit hole he decided to go.

oh, and make sure you go post a positive review on amazon!

I haven't read the entire book yet, but I would say the "Myths Revealed and Geometry explained" part of the title is pretty accurate. I think the book does a good job of explaining in plain English many of the terms you hear associated with suspension modification, and their relationships to many of the aftermarket part that are aimed at better handling. It can aid you in creating a plan to put together parts that will work as a system. If you are looking to build your front suspension from scratch, you are going to need something more technical.

I just like the fact that they spelled his last name wrong...and his last name is visible in the picture right beside it. Gotta love proofreading...or lack thereof.

At least the book is correct...lol, websites are notorious for being type-hacks...
I hope they sell a ton of these

Thanks for the kind words guys! I`m gonna need a bigger hat now. ;) The book has been a real labor of love. I have a whole new respect for authors and editors and anyone who works in the literary field! For those who are wondering the main purpose of the book is to explain some of the basics of vehicle dynamics as they apply specifically to muscle cars and the influences of aftermarket parts and modifications. I hope it will help folks plan their builds better and more easily achieve their goals. I do go into things like scrub radius, lateral roll center migration, mumford links, flat ride frequencies and so on but I keep them brief and simple. I think including a sampling of the more complex issues as well as a little history makes it easier to see the big picture. I hope you guys enjoy it! Mark SC&C

Just got my copy today, skimmed through most of it and read the entire GM Muscle Cars section (A Body). very informative, well written. Ill have to defiantly read the whole thing, but you got two thumbs up from me on this one. a must read for anyone building a pro touring car.
