I'm in the process of mini-tubbing by 67 Firebird convertible w/ the DSE kit...I removed the inner tub on the driverside and narrowed the sheetmetal inward. Now i've over-studied hours and hours of pics as well as watched the DSE mini-tub video but the close outs, including the frame- rail closeouts seem to conflict with what I see on mine.

I guess my question is...is it possible that the 67 convertible f-body has a different frame rail design as well as shock crossmember design since the pics on the various websites i've seen mostly cover non-convertibles???

BTW, do the 1967, 1968, 1969 Coupe f-bodies differ at all as well?

Thanks, chris

Yes, 67's are different from 68 and 69. Yes verts are different all together...however I have no experience with the verts. I know Frank(Prodigy Customs) is doing a vert.
I did a 67 Coupe and the frame rails are very different. My close out was larger to cover the open space in the DSE well. Shoot me some pictures and we will see if we can help you. You can see some close out pictures on Mikes homepage (http://hometown.aol.com/gumbydmit22/mpcamaro.html).
