thought I´d start a thread on lightweight stuff to replace old overbuilt std parts that I guess is often overlooked?the idea came from me trying to find a lightweight ps pump,and a small lowprofile alternator for my project.
something like this,type of part,weight,part number/origin,height/width,misc.and if it´s a direct fit part,also weight of the oem part/savings.

so feel free to post up,any part or ideas.

LOL!:lmao: yes,the engine itself weighs a ton,and I can´t do much about that,so the plan is to lighten everything else possible.
