Hey guys, nice to meet you. I've been into cars since I started driving almost 20 years ago now. My first car was a '68 Mustang, I've owned 5 other Mustangs since then as well as a '95 Z28, an '02 Z28, and an '04 GTO. Currently, I own a '95 Mustang GT and a '91 LX 5.0.
I joined specifically to get information about parts compatibility. Basically, I have a complete 5.0 mustang drivetrain, and brakes for an '06 GTO (I was going to upgrade the brakes on my '04 but had to sell it). I'm curious if the brakes on the GTO are the same as the Corvette's. I'd like to use all the parts I have to build a complete chassis for a hot rod/speedster style car, and want to know if I can adapt the GTO brakes (either completely including spindle), or at least use the calipers with Corvette rotors/spindles.
Other than that, my favorite magazines are popular hot-rodding, and Mustangs mags that tend to stick with pro-touring style cars.
