If its from a Firebird, its an LS1, not an LS6.

no LS6 had an automatic behind it either. There's a flex plate on that engine.

Perimeter bolt heads. You can buy these complete with a 4L60E, harness, ECM and accessories for around $2000 or less depending on mileage. I don't think that it's a great deal.
