That's not the first time it's happened either. I was living in North Dakota in 82 or 83 when it caved in. If I remember correctly a loader was being used to pull some snow off and ripped it.

as for why not have the game in Green Bay- it's outdoors, and i don't think they'd allow the purple uniforms to have a "home" game there.. Detroit is indoors, and i'm sure only the finest members of the Detroit metro area will show up to claim the free tickets they are giving out for the game.
