68 Camaro RS Grill Question

I'm mocking up the front end of my 68 RS. Unfortunately I've had to replace the valence with a Chinamanese knockoff. After installing the RS grill I'm questioning the position of the grill relative to the leading edge of the valence. So my question is...

...what is the proper dimension, measured horizontally, from the leading edge of the valence to the front most edge of the lower grill molding?

Nevermind - with some pushing and pulling, cutting off brackets and making new ones, filling some holes and drilling some new ones, parts started to fall into place.
