I FINALLY had some time to finish up some T-shirt designs and get my online store up and running. I've been getting requests for a while and here they are, just in time for Christmas! Ready to ship immediately.

Go Here:

Grip Equipped apparel is a brand I've been working on for a while now and it will include a focus on Pro-Touring, Street Rods and Street Machines. Flying eyeballs, flaming skulls, Rat Fink and Tiki stuff is really cool but it's time we had our own style of art that expresses our taste and our growing culture.

Here is a copy of the press release:

From the mind of Ben Hermance, Grip Equipped apparel is meant to take the next step in wearable automotive art. In this batch you’ll see that high-performance, modified vehicles are the centerpiece and the backgrounds are abstract and express the “personality” of the vehicle. Some are modern g-machines with a aggressive grunge attitude, some are clean and modern and others have a weathered old-school grittiness. The common element between these vehicles that makes us so passionate about our car culture is the interface between driver and car and car with road. Grip is that interface. We're all excited by the sensation of gripping the steering wheel in one hand, the shifter knob in the other, mashing the go-pedal while the tires grip to launch you from the start line or out of that turn. Grip Equipped is the graphic representation of that sensation infused with contemporary art themes and trends.

With these first available T-shirt designs we hope to build a major brand geared towards us. This is just the tip of the proverbial iceburg. We’re in the process of developing more shirts along with women's apparel, gear for the little Pro-Tourers, caps, beenies, hoodies and button-up work shirts in the future. Stay tuned for more info regarding these items.

If you're interested in carrying this new line in your own online stores or your showrooms, please contact Ben directly. Also, please let us know what you think of the designs and what you may like to see in the future! Contact Ben with questions. [email protected]

Plus, we hope to have Hermance Design prints, wall graphics and decals shortly to decorate your office, garage, kids room, dog house, anywhere!

Thanks!!
Ben

Very cool shirts and good prices too. Get those beanies in there so I can order mine. The grip equipped logo is very cool as well, any plans to do something with just that logo? Nice stuff Ben!

Thanks guys, glad you like this first group of items. I'm testing the water with these and judging by the purchases since Thursday, it looks I'll be able to expand into the other products I REALLY want to do sooner than anticipated. I'm thrilled and I appreciate anyone spreading the word.

Will-Yes, I will be doing a bunch of items with several "flavors" of that logo (5-6 actually). The logo alone took be about 6 months to get it where I want it as there are subtle themes sort of "hidden" in it. I have a hoodie, a Havard Sq style weathered ball cap with some cool stainless embellishments, a black and a gray beenie and some button-up golf and work shirt concepts with embroidered variations of that logo. I sort of wanted to get the brand recognized as being automotive before assuming folks would just buy a Grip Equipped product just because of the logo.

I better get that first gray hoodie up there soon....it's frikkin freezing here in New England! I'm probably going to offer all of those designs in long sleeve and kids sizes...hopefully, this week.

Rob-Actually, when someone orders a rendering, I offer to them that I can have it printed on shirts in low volume. I did that for JCG Customs' two Camaros (Blu Balz and the green 70), plus I just did some for Bill P with his Evade Camaro. So to answer your question, yes, it can be done. However, at the lower volumes, the shirts are a little more expensive but still very affordable, plus the cost of your own rendering of course. Then you've got killer, unique art for your walls and your back!

Don't worry, I didn't forget about my Chevelle buddies....be patient....I'll have some A body and X body designs soon! If all goes well, in the next 6 months I hope to flood the place with new stuff. I'm really only scratching the surface with these shirts you see here. So many ideas and so little time.

It's bloody cold over here in Switzerland too so a Grip Equipped beanie would do this brother well... Keep us updated on new product.

Guys,
Ben did an awesome job on the shirts.
They look even better in person, mine showed up today.
Super customer service and pretty fast shipping too.
It's probably already known but Ben seems like a real good guy to deal with, he responded and sent a couple emails over the last few days to keep me informed about my order and to make sure I liked what I bought.
I sure hope he can keep up the great personal service, because I have a feeling he's gonna be REAL busy soon!! LOL

Thanks again Ben.
Jeremy

I'm waiting patiently then.

If I wait REALLY patiently, will a '67 wagon shirt happen? LOL!!! I'll just hold my breath.

Great stuff Ben (as usual). I'll be looking for the Chevelle goodies, and the Lead Sled art is awesome too. I'll have to order a couple up once the Chevelle stuff is available.

Thanks for the orders Jeremy and Bryce! So far, so good with these first shirts, they're all selling like crazy! My manufacturer sort of loves me and hates me now...lots of orders coming in and lots of late nights trying to meet the demand.

I just got pricing for long sleeves, sweatshirts, ladies and kids sizes. I'll be adding those to the website this week...hopefully!

No Chevelles (or wagons) yet. I know I'll have one Chevelle, one Nova, another Ford, a Mopar and a wagon...probably early-mid 60's GM. They'll probably be sometime in the spring as I'm trying to get some embroidered beenies done before winter is over plus some ball caps.
