This was the first one I have missed in a while. And dammit I see Rick was there with his 68 fastback. I could not make it for two reasons...one is my youngest had two basketball games in the morning and I think my car is about to eat a lifter (solid roller) so I am not driving it until I can tear it down.

I ended up leaving about 10-10:30. I got there at 8:05 and there was actually some question as to where I could park--it filled up FAST. But, by 9:30 about 1/2 the folks were leaving.

I had been getting there a little after 7 in order to find a decent place to park...any later than that and i had to park in the back and/or in an aisle.

I pulled in right behind you and the other late model Bullitt in my Green '68, the guy directing traffic thought all three of us in green Mustangs were together. Pretty cool. It was my first time at C&C, I'll definitely be doing it again, I'll just be a little more careful when leaving next time.... Great pics, thanks for sharing.

Did you see the motocop at the tollway entrance? I punched the Ty out of the parkinglot (and got my sweet turbo whine) and right when I hit 45mph I saw his helmet and let off the gas...all that could be heard was my BOV going ape$#it.

I didn't see when you came in, but definitely saw your car, very nice! The 08/9 Bullitt was right behind me, I parked in the "Mustang" area thinking he'd pull in next to me, but he went to the other corner....so I moved and parked with a couple buddies. Would be cool to have them all in a group.

Nope, never saw him. I never really got on it, I started to jump on the tollway but realized I didnt have any change for the toll so I swerved back to the frontage road. He pulled up along side me when I was in the U turn to come back around. He was pretty cool about it and let me slide....once I admitted i was doing more than 45.... The guy at the gate stopped me and asked about the car, but never pointed out the cop.

FYI....there seems to be a growing faction of elitist "high end" car owners who feel that anything under $100,000 shouldn't be allowed in the show. Specifically one guy with a bone stock Ford GT...who complains that there aren't enough spots because all the "riff raff" cars are taking up spaces...even though he doesn't show up until after 8:00.

It's starting to get kinda goofy with guys like him and that attitude, then all the clubs putting out cones at 6:30 blocking off 10-20 places for themselves which is not supposed to be allowed.

I'm wondering how long C&C Dallas is going to last....I hope this crap goes away, or they move to a bigger location so everyone can have their space.
