Hi..my name is Rod. I retired from Ford with 33 years service. Always drove Fords and my hot rods were Fords. Last summer I got a smoking hot deal on a fully restored big block El Camino. I bought it to flip and make a few bucks. I drove it to a couple of events to sell, and before I knew it I was hooked. So now I'm going to keep it and make it a pro touring. I signed up for the Power Tour next year and am going for the long haul. What I've done so far: changed the 3.08 to 3.42 posi and heavy duty axles. Installed a Gear Vendors overdrive. Next: quick steering and 4 wheel disks. Tires and wheels. I don't have pictures yet, but will post after I figure it out. Thanks Rod

Welcome! El Caminos are pretty cool! I was a die-hard Mopar man, But now I have several makes and models so I consider myself a car guy with Mopar leanings. Welcome to the forum!
