What's up my fellow gearheads! My name is Sonny and I'm a car junkie. I've been spending alot of time working on multiple projects and finally decided that it was time to post up some progress on my 69 Chevelle in particular. I'm building the car mainly for banging around town as a reliable performance daily driver. I plan on putting it to the test on the power tour in 2011 or 2012. I bought the car in September of 08' as a partially restored car and thought that I'd have it ready to drive in a few months, but that somehow turned into 2+ years. Even though I like to be unique I went with a somewhat basic/common setup here because workspace, tooling and time are too limited (for now). I have more radical projects planned for the future. As soon as I fit the rearend back in the car and tune the brakes, I'll be cruising. Here are a few basic details...

350 full roller
speed demon 750 annular carb
edelbrock perfromer rpm air gap intake
xr276hr cam
trans:
mild th350 (t56 6 speed or 700r4 swap planned)
rear axle:
8.2" 10 bolt
yukon 3.55 gears and axles
eaton posi
ta girdle cover
suspension:
currently all factory with new bushings
bilstein shocks
brakes:
master cyl - cpp mcpv-1 with 1" bore (should have bought wilwood)
booster- none
front - gm disc (no details yet)
rear - cadillac eldorado 11" discs w/parking brake
wheels/tires:
vww v45 wheels, nitto nt555 tires
front - 17x8 245/45/17
rear - 17x9.5 285/40/17
interior:
80% restored completly factory interior
completly rebuilt front bench seat, including springs

xenon headlights with relays
