So I have a set of Detroit Speeds 3" drop leaf springs on the back of my Camaro and it rides super stiff... Is this the norm for these springs? If you have any experience with them let me know. Thanks!

Phillip,

I have the same springs on my 69, but I also have a 1" aluminum block. It does ride a little stiff. I think its just due to the design of the spring. I've had them under my car for a couple years. Mike

Thanks Mike... I have a 2" block in there as well :ssst: LOL

Sits pretty low, I ended up cutting my bump stops way back. I did just put adjustable shocks on there and that has helped quite a bit.

What are you running in the front? I've got dropped spindels right now, but not sure if I like it.

I have identical setup. Love the stance but considering swapping out for a 1" block at some point after several suggestions to do this.

My previous Camaro had the Air Bar 4 link with QA1's and that was definitely a better ride. I'd like to switch to a torque arm at some point when funds allow. But for now I'll keep the leafs and just add a sway bar and better adjustable shocks to make due.

Are you running the offset shackles as well?
