I posted some photos from the 2010 Optima Challenge and SEMA. Mark Stielow dominated the event. There were really about 15 cars that were well prepared, by experienced drivers, 5 of which were damn near race cars. There were some that were pretty decent, and there were a few that were either too nice to thrash, or were never meant to be on the track, and it showed! Goldberg was the host, and was a bit of a DB. I volunteered to help flag the roadcourse portion of the event. The event had no major problems, very few cars broke, and there were only 3 majors spins. The most spectacular was Polly in is BAD 3rd Gen trans am. He got tail happy coming off the corner, nearly swapped ends several times before spinning a few feet from the concrete wall, which I was standing behind! Click below to see the photos, thanks James Butler for the use of the Camera, and many of the pics. One would think SEMA was a stripper convention by your photos!
