Being a LS newbie I'm looking for some help from guys with LS motors in second gen camaros. I purchased a LSX 454 this weekend for a smoking deal and now need to get all the neccessary parts needed to put it in the car. I'm looking for the best parts available. I will be using a carbed setup, with the Edelbrock intake and 870 CFM carb

-Front accessory drive, need power steering, A/C. COncept one, MArch, etc??
-Oil Pan, ATS ??
-Electronics needed?? Coils, mounts, MSD controllers, etc??
-anything else???

Like I said complete LSX newbie so all help is appreciated!! thanks

I'm doing a similar setup, but using the injected carb manifold. I don't claim to be an LS expert by any means, this is my first one. ;)

I'm going to use the Wegner LS accessory drive with AC and a remote-mount PS reservoir. Looks like I'm going with a Champ oil pan and sandwich adapter to have a remote oil cooler. You will need coils (which I see pretty readily available on eBay), but I'm not certain on the controller...

If you haven't already seen it, LS1tech.com recently added a Carb-specific forum for the LS engines. It's not overly populated like many of the forums there, so it would definitely be worth a few minutes to peruse it and ask similar questions...

i did the same and got their black setup. its a pretty sweet deal. not as blingy as some, but its very well built.

I will for sure go with Wegner when I get everything lined up and ready to go
