OK gurus, need your help with this one. :-D Just had my 77 T/A painted (black!!), cleaned and polished. Now that white compound residue is in all the usual nooks and crannies. What is the best product (brand name and supplier please) for cleaning out that mess?
Also, apart from Eastwood, who carries the best spatter paint for the trunk? :P
Thanks in advance.

ASfor clean up, microfibre towels, any good window cleaner, paint sticks, old tooth brushes and if you can find them stiff horse hair brushes on wood handles,,,oh and time, time and patience.
Heck I like the Martin-Senour(spelling) spray can paint from local NAPA, heck the plastic bumper paint is good also for plastic parts too.

I would also suggest a toothbrush. However, I would just buy a new one that had soft bristles. Also, just about any autoparts store will carry wool brushes. they are usually larger, but the wool strings are long, and combined with car wash detergent, clean the residue up really well. Most compounds are water soluable, so it doesn't take any harsh cleaners to get it off, usually just soap and water.
I think most restoration suppliers will carry splatter paint, but I've seen it at most autoparts stores as well. I think Dupli-color has a line of it. places like autozone, napa, advance auto.... all should carry it, or be able to get it within a day or so.

Crown has some of the best spatter paint, it cost more but has twice the amount of solids in it so it will cover better and easier.
isn't detailing fun !
