i was so freakin happy but i had to creep it around and stay on the shop road cause tags ran out.what a feeling that was.im finally seeing some light at the end of the tunnel.:twothumbs

Nice, I haven't driven mine yet. It had been sitting when I bought it and had no interior in it. I haven't even bothered trying to fire it up as I don't have any seats in it yet. Can't wait though.

Good to hear, I have'nt driven my 68 Firebird ever and ive owened it 3yrs, and its going to be at least another 3yrs before its close to complete. Who else here has not driven there car or has not driven it in years?

That first ride, after a longtime off the road, makes it all worth it. It really adds new energy back into your build. It also helps you forget all the bad times that made you think you would never get there
I think it took me 4 or 5 years to get my Camaro back on the road, and I can't even count how many times I was ready to give up. I actually even went as far as making a "for sale" flyer for it, when I was about 3/4 of the way to getting it back on the road
What a mistake that would have been..... although I would have a lot more money now

Owned my chevelle for 5 years now. Haven't driven it, and it's still several years out from being able to.

i bought my currant '69 in april this year and it wasn't running when i bought it. so no, i have never driven this car.

8+ years.... bought it in a basket... never driven it... I need to learn to say "NO" when people want me to make stuff for them...

man i dunno how you can go that long.. my car has been down 8 months and im going crazy to get it back from the shop. 65 chevelle ls2 turbo built 4l80e 12 bolt posi.
