I am looking for a new set of valve covers for a BBC project I have going on.

Was just curious of anyone has seen anything new or different recently....Maybe at SEMA?

Let me know if there is anything unique out there - other than paint, etc.

Thanks - Mike

Carbon fiber resin burns like crazy. Never get the valve covers over 350*F. But they look really cool!

Thanks for suggesting the CF. Those will not clear shaft rockers or stud girdles. Thats the problem with any of the real billet valve covers I have also found recently......

You might just have to go with some tall aluminum fabricated covers, they look awsome on pretty much everything

I wish I could remember what magazine I saw it in so I could snag a picture, but one of the feature cars in one of my magazines this year had a big block with custom valve covers. The valve covers had triangle-shaped indentations that alternated back and forth across the top. It gave a very industrial, but subtle look that I thought was very tasteful. Unfortunately, I doubt that my description does it any justice.

That sounds cool! If you think of where it was, I'd love to see it!

I don't know what your budget is, but contact Paul at Shwarts Racing Manifolds. He makes one-off 100% CNC machined Billet valve covers. He can make them for any vehicle applicaton and litterally any design you can think of.

I agree with Greg , I have a set of CNC covers on my Viper engine for X-metal engineering, they look sick.....but not cheap.
