What can be done about rust in places you cannot get to? For instance you can have your frame media blasted and then powder coated, covered with primer, paint, POR, or whatever but what about the inside of the frame rails,...places you just can't get to. Should that be a concern?

Eastwood sells a rust coating designed for inside of frames. You can get it in a spray can with a hose attached to it to reach inside.

the best way is to have it acid dipped as this dissolves all rust, i did my nova this way, but you have to spray inside all cavities like the rockers to protect them, an oil type wax spray is available for this, but dont do it until after the vehicle/chassis is painted as it will prevent paint sticking near any holes etc as it will weep out,

For a frame, the easiest thing would be to have it galvanized. They acid dip it to clean all the rust and gunk off of it, then dip it in zinc. Have them skip the oil quench if you want to paint it. Clean it with scotch brite and vinegar , then use primer from www.anchorpaint.com and prime it then paint as desired. Go here for more information http://www.einstyn.com/einstyn-hardtop-02.htm

Ditto. I like the idea of galvanizing a frame. Only thing is to make sure you're done with mods, and that you provide enough drain holes for when they hot-dip it. Otherwise, they may torch a bunch of fugly holes in it.
