I think it would look awesome. Cliffs on here has one. CliffS maybe. I'm sure there are other guys. Do an advanced search with that name in it. He's on here right now actually - maybe he'll chime in.

I ran a 69 T/A hood on my 67 for years. Looks nice. I plan on keeping it whan I put my car back together. It's a basic fiberglass hood I got many years ago. I had an original metal hood for a while back in the late 70's early 80's. But a friend got caugt in a wreck with his 69 T/A and needed a hood. After eh begged and cried ALOT I gave in and sold him my original for some cash and thie fiberglass hood I now have. I really wish I had kept it. But on the otherhand I hated to see an original running around with a fiberglass hood. I'd like to pick up one of the new metal hoods that are out there now. But the money is needed else where at this time.

68firechicken;

When I was looking for mine I was looking at VFN, but ended up finding a fibreglass version from a company called Early Birds out of Toronto. A member on protouring changed his mind and was selling it. Earlybirds has since discountinued it and has gone to a steel version for about $1800.00. The hood that I got will need some work but I was expecting that with fibreglass.

For tire sizes I am going to be running 255/40/18 front and 295/35/18 rear, Rushforth Rated-X.

Good luck with your build.

Dave
