After a long battle with Alzheimer and most recently a stoke, Albert Melchior lost his father last night. Please join us in wishing him and his family the strength to endure this great loss and well wishes for the future.


Albert, Lynn, Christian and Little Al are a great family and I am proud to know them all. Albert jumped into our little community over a year ago and has given so much all the time asking for nothing in return. Truly a great guy and very close friend/member of the Rat Pack.


Albert, We wish all you well and if there is anything we can do to help you through this please let us know. It would be an honor to be able to help in any way.

I spoke with Albert this evening. He is in good spirits considering and was happy to hear from me. Even though it is tough on the family right now, they understand that Dad is in a better place and not suffering anymore. Albert and I had talked three nights ago about quality of life and it just wasn't going to be there. Albert, you know we are here for you, just a phone call away, and we will be looking forward to some fun times in a couple weeks. Nothing like a rat pack trip to clear your mind. :)

Your outcry of support and condolences are greatly appreciated by both my family and I very much..... Big Al as we liked to call him was very interested in our hobby (my hobby) and even in his limited capacity tried very hard to follow the events and growth of the Pro-touring sport... He regularly said that the friends and associations of the RatPack would be an asset in my life.... For all of those with family members that have Alzheimers, you should know Albert has been a strong supporter of raising money for a cure, and has dontated a lot of resources to raising help for those with this disease.
